Zion's National Park

We went with Ben's Family to Zion's National Park. Enjoy all the pictures. I just couldn't decide which ones to post. So you get a lot to look at. Here is my cute little Daphne. We just got a new backpack so this was a great adventure for her.

Ben and Ryker

Ryker is sporting his new baseball cap.

Walking down the path. I carried an umbrella when Ryker was awake. I was so worried about him getting sun burnt. It was really hot.

Daphne really enjoyed riding on Daddy's Back. Some days she was happier then others. All in all she was a great hiker. The sun was hot and she did great traveling with a lot of adults.

Waiting for the bus. Daphne loved riding on the bus. She would sing or would fight Joel for the best spot. Wherever Joel was she wanted to be.

We took a lot of family pictures. We had many people ask us if they were both ours. I guess we looked funny!!

Aunt Miki came with us on our adventures. Here she is with Kip and Bonnie.

The last day Daphne got tired of riding in the pack. She just wanted to walk. Here she is with Ben walking across the bridge.

A day at the ZOO!!

For Daphne's Birthday we spent the day at the zoo. Daphne had never been there before. She had a great time. She spent alot of time just watching. She loved seeing the animals live and not just in her books.

Ryker is a trooper. He is really easy to take which makes the day a lot more enjoyable.

The Birthday Girls!! Maddie did not want her picture taken and so this was the only one we got of the two of them together. They are the best of friends.

We rode on the carousel. Daphne loved the Giraffe's. We found out that one of the Giraffe's is named Daphne too. She thought that was really fun.

My sister Sarah with the Girls. She is always a great help whenever we go anywhere. Thanks Sarah!!! We had a really fun day.

Daphne and Madison's Family Birthday party

Here is Daphne and Madison's cake. Daphne gets to share her birthday with her cousin Madison. They love celebrating together. I decided to try a fun cake this year. Thanks to Ben and my sister Sarah we put together this building block cake. I think it turned out great!!
Daphne was really tired after spending the day at the Zoo so here is her smile for the night. She is posing with her cake.

Singing happy birthday to Madison and Daphne. Daphne turned 2 and Madison turned 3!!

Daphne's birthday party during play group

Play group was the day before Daphne's birthday so I decided to have a little party with her friends. We had a farm theme and these are the cupcakes that we made. They turned out fun.

For our activity we hid lots of little toys and candy in hay for the kids to find. Daphne was so excited about the suckers. You could tell that I have never bought them before.

Everyone had a lot of fun digging in the hay finding prizes. It was fun to see what each kid was looking for. They all had an item they really wanted and found as many of that item as they could.

After they filled their bags they all sat on the grass and ate candy and played with the toys

We had an art project and make sheep. That turned into coloring and cutting.

Maddie came a little late and so her and Daphne got to have their own hunt.

Who knows how many suckers Daphne had???
