More pictures of the chickens

Every time we went to see the chickens they had changed so much. It took Daphne a minute to warm up. Ryker on the other hand just went right to work picking up the food or straw.

Grandpa Mabey and Ryker feeding the chickens.

This was the last time Daphne was brave enough to feed the chickens. She said it hurt her hand. They were getting bigger and using more force.

Here she is with the chickens.

A couple weeks later. Look at the change they have made.

Daphne really enjoyed walking around and looking for the girl and boy chickens. You could now tell them apart and she did a great job doing it.

Jeff was helping them feed the chickens. Daphne did not want to get close at all.

At the very end she finally touched them. I was very proud of how she was with the chickens. We all had a really fun time watching them grow and go through the different stages. The chickens are now gone. Daphne will really miss them. What an adventure they were!!

Easter Bunnies

My Mom had some bunnies at her house. She did not want the kids to touch them and so of course my kids just left them alone.

Daphne loved the girl bunnies. Ryker just loved to carry them around.

Daphne WOULD NOT leave them alone. They were her own personal dolls just her size. We were all glad to put them away.

More easter egg hunts!!

Grandma and Grandpa Farmer put together a hunt for the grandkids. They are all ready to go!!!

Daphne and Ryker picking up eggs in the kitchen.

My little Ryker with his basket. He just wanted to open the eggs.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Farmer!!!

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt at my Grandma and Grandpa Holt's house. I am helping ryker pick up his eggs.

We all have an amount we can pick up. Daphne picked up most of them.

I think she had fun!!

Charlee and Ryker opening eggs.

Fun times to be had by all.

Our family on Easter. We had a great day spending time with both families.
The kids especially love their COUSINS!!!

Eater Morning!!!

Ryker was in heaven!! The Easter Bunny left eggs all over the house and Ryker loved opening then all up and eating the marshmallows right away.

They both got sunglasses and here they are showing them off.

Daphne spent all morning gathering eggs while Ryker ate. Here she is with her prize basket.

Could things get any better then this for a one year old??

Easter Egg Hunt with Grandma and Grandpa Farmer

Our first Easter Egg hunt in the snow. The kids were all bundled up to go and gather some eggs.

Grandma and Grandpa Farmer with Daphne and Ryker. The kids really had a good time. At first Daphne got her hands wet so she did not enjoy but she realized what she was getting and dove right in.

I could not believe that we had snow.
Look at us, we look ready for winter not spring.

Here is Daphne in the car on our way home opening all her eggs. Do you think she enjoyed herself?

Coloring Easter Eggs

This year we attempted to color Easter eggs. Daphne had the time of her life. She really loves to do "projects." Ryker just watched. He was very interested in what Ben was doing.

This was the end result. She loved that her hands were colored for a couple of days.
